Sixth Mid-Atlantic Pump & Process Equipment Symposium

Aston, Pennsylvania – The sixth Mid-Atlantic Pump & Process Equipment Symposium was held in Aston, Pennsylvania at Smith-Koch, Inc. a Geiger Company, on September 21, 2006. The event was attended by over 140 organizations from across the country and offered a product expo featuring two dozen different manufacturers. With over 400 customer attendees, a record setting 755 training certificates were issued in a single day for attendance at one of the 14 training courses that were offered. Training combined elements of the traditional classroom as well as in depth, hands on sessions for maintenance of Centrifugal, Rotary Gear and Air Operated Diaphragm pumps as well as installation and troubleshooting of mechanical seals. Participants were actively engaged and utilized Symposium furnished hand tools and safety gear to their advantage, learning “how-to” with actual pumps and mechanical seals found everywhere in today’s industrial plants.
